A rare Circuit Race! Don't Miss it!

The Circuit Race is a road bicycle race on a fun and challenging closed loop 2.0 mile course. The event is permitted by USA Cycling, the national governing body and the City of Thousand Oaks. There are multiple races throughout the day for men, women, and masters. Each event is 30 to 75 minutes long and is grouped by category, depending on the racer’s skill level and age. The top level races for men and women include professionals, in addition to the amateurs. The event will have an Expo area for racers and spectators including food and drinks and fun activities. The event will raise money for the Michael P. Nosco Foundation, a local charity. If you are interested in being a sponsor, please contact one of the Race Directors.

Course Description:  Start/Finish on Conejo Center Street near the Corner of Spectrum Street.  Downhill on Conejo Center, R turn on Rancho Conejo Blvd. and R turn on Lawrence Drive, then R on Conejo Spectrum Street and up the hill to the finish. Total length is 2.0 miles with three right turns and 200 feet of elevation gain per lap.

The second annual 805 Thousand Oaks Grand Prix Criterium is a road bicycle race on a fun and challenging 1.2 mile closed loop course. The event is permitted by USA Cycling, the national governing body and the City of Thousand Oaks. There are multiple races throughout the day for men, women, juniors and masters as well as kids races. Each event is 30 to 75 minutes long and is grouped by category, depending on the racer’s skill level and age. The top level races for men and women include professionals, in addition to the amateurs. The event will have an Expo area for racers and spectators including food and drinks and fun activities. The event will raise money for the Michael P. Nosco Foundation, a local charity. The sport of cycling is growing and the City of Thousand Oaks has been a great promoter of the sport and the activity generally. The City is already known as a world-class cycling destination and we hope to promote and further the City’s reputation in the cycling community.

Course Description:  Start/Finish on Conejo Center Street near the Corner of Spectrum Street.  Downhill on Conejo Center, R turn on Rancho Conejo Blvd. and R turn on Conejo Spectrum Street. Total length is 1.2 miles with three right turns and 59 feet of elevation gain per lap. The course will be run in the opposite direction on the same loop as in 2017.  The start/finish is right around the corner form where shown on this map.
